Lou Sang '10

Today marks the end of Chinese New Year. Come to think of it, I have not posted anything about CNY in my blog yet. Whenever I go blog-hopping for the past two weeks, I can definitely see updates on CNY. I guess it's time for me to share my CNY as well. So, I shall start with the PM8's Lou Sang. :)

Guess what, I actually went through my archives to search for my previous post about our Lou Sang on January '09. It surprised me, to see how much we've changed in a year. The changes were only obvious when I compared the pictures in both entries. Sad to say, that was our second and last Lou Sang session. I doubt we'll have the next Lou Sang, as in involving the whole PM8. :(

I don't know why is it rotated, because it isn't like that in my folder.
I'm too lazy to upload again, so just bear with it dear readers. :P
Oh, and if you don't know why there was a cake on that day, continue reading!

Ms. Chong, I miss Thinking Skills classes!
Shouldn't have complained about it last time. :(

Part of the Yee Sang! :)

Unpacking the boxes to get our Yee Sang.

Still in progress, be patient people! :P

Cindy, Vivian & Wen Qi
For some reasons, I find this picture extraordinary cute!

Sexy Number 1. Hahaha!

Crackers, the best part about Yee Sang!
2 days ago, I had Yee Sang without the crackers.
They replaced them with Muruku. Bleh, NOT nice at all. :(

Jennie, Yours truly & Su Ann :)

Haha, I remember about this picture.
I asked them not to start first because I wanted to take a picture of the Yee Sang.
I took 2 pictures and wasn't satisfy with any, which means they cannot start yet.
Sam Ong then grabbed the camera and took this for me. Frustrated, I think. Haha.

Ms. Chong :)

I don't know how did he manage to do that! OMG!

Ning was the only one who posed for the camera, loves you. :P

Okay, now I love Heng too. :D

Sam, giving her thank you speech.
Why? Because we celebrated the January babies' birthdays also!
Now that explains the picture of the cake above. Haha.

Sam Tham & Geraldine, January babies too.

Mr. Peter :)

Happy Birthday! :)

PM8

No, I'm not naming everyone of us. Check my Facebook instead!

Levi's jeans are plain AWESOME.

Set it as your display picture, Sam! :P

What's Not

Always and forever,
Friends we were supposed to be.
More than anything in the world,
Was what you meant to me.

I want us to be normal again,
Like it was before,
When we were happy,
Instead of this bitterness.

When Life Gives You Lemons, You Make Lemonades!

It hurts to see friends in immense pain, especially when there's nothing I can do about it.

Of course, I've never been through the same thing you're facing now. I might not be able to understand how devastating it is and I might not be able to give you the best advices or solutions. But friends, I'm here whenever you need somebody to talk to, to share whatever which is troubling you now.

It's been awhile since I last saw your smile. You may find it difficult to do so because life can be more than a struggle for you recently. But bear in mind, the important thing is not to be bitter over life's disappointments. You have to learn to let go of the past, and come to realise you won't get to see sunshine every day. And when you find yourself lost in the darkness of despair, remember, it's only in the black of night that you will see the stars, and those stars will lead you back home.

A New Start

Here's a toast to the future, a toast to the past, and a toast to our friends, far and near.

It's New Year's eve!
We all had a great time, hadn't we?

I can sum up almost everything which happened on that night in 5 integers. Believe it or not? The first integer is definitely 1. What does 1 stand for? Very simple, we watched only one movie on that day, which was "Alvin & The Chipmunks: The Squeakquel". I actually laughed from the start of the movie until the end. Great movie to mark the end of the year. =P

The Apartment seems to be our only choice when we're in KLCC, I don't know why is it so myself. No doubts, that's where we feast like Kings on that night. Thank God that we reserved a table before we headed to the cinema, or else there wouldn't be a place for us to dine in. The area was packed, people were literally everywhere! That's how we define celebrations, I think.

2 is the next integer.
Brilliant readers like you should've known why by now.
Just in case that you don't know, it stands for 2 margaritas.
June insisted that we should order something different on that night.

Beautiful water fountain. :)

My favourite colour. :P

3 more digits, am I right? They are in a sequence, so the next one is definitely 3. It is actually the number of police blocks we saw on that night. Police blocks are equivalent to minor traffic congestion, which is why I dislike them. Never mind, they were just doing their parts. :)

Guess what? We headed to 4 different places on the very same night also. KLCC, June's house ( To get her sandals because she was in pain :P ), Mahkota Cheras and Semenyih. Don't ask me how did I end up in Semenyih, because I don't know why either. That's not even near to the place which I intended to go. As for 5, it marks the number of fireworks displays we saw. Beautiful explosions, I've always loved them. How can one not love them? I really don't understand.

That's my New Year's eve, what about yours? :)

Life

If you're given these buttons, will you use them?

Those buttons are tempting, aren't they? Who doesn't want to correct every mistakes? Who doesn't want to see what's going to happen in the future? Well, maybe there's only a few who doesn't, but the majority of us wants to. All of us hope to live a flawless life, a life without regrets and pains, sorrows and tears. If it's possible, the only element we want in life is happiness, isn't it?

Think twice before you come into a conclusion. If we return to the past and manipulate things to the way we want them to be, then life is meaningless and not worth living anymore. Mistakes make who we are today, we learn from them. That's why God created tomorrows for us to make things happen, and that's the beautiful thing about life.

We have to take the good with the bad, smile with the sad, love what we've got, and appreciate what we've had. Perhaps we should stop analysing the past, stop planning the future and stop figuring how precisely we feel. Sometimes, we just have to go with the flow, and see where it takes us.

P.S: Time will tell.

I Shouldn't

Sometimes I wonder if it really matters to make a decision on something which has bothered me for a long period of time. Whenever I'm left with nothing to do, I think it over again and again but it doesn't help at all, I still find myself in a dilemma. Maybe all I want is somebody to tell me what to do, I really can't endure this anymore. Perhaps it's true, indecision is really a form of dependency; we are all waiting for somebody to give us an answer.

They said, "Do it or do not do it, you will regret both. Why don't you just do it?". Yes, it sounds like it is really easy to do so, but in fact, it isn't. I know both the advantages and disadvantages after I follow whatever the tiny little voice in my head tells me to do. Which outweighs which? Advantages outweighs the disadvantages or the other way round? I have no idea.

I'm still trying not to decide anything yet, but I have no more time. I need a decision, and whatever it is, I have to accept the responsibilities and consequences for making it. If only I can make up my mind the moment I wake up tomorrow morning. Sigh.

Be strong now, because things will get better.
It might be stormy now, but it can’t rain forever.

CNY 2010!

Happy Chinese New Year!
&
Happy Valentine's Day!

They fall on the same day in Year 2010, special in a way, isn't it?
I get to see "ang paos", red lanterns, roses, bears and chocolates everywhere.
So, to whoever who is having joint celebrations, have a great one!
And for those who are celebrating CNY, give or get more ang paos! =)

Plain

I love this picture to bits! :P

If you are waiting for detailed posts about what happened recently, sorry to disappoint you again, your blogger here has no time for that yet. I'm a lousy blogger, I know. But still, I know you haven't gave up on me yet, have you? :)

Only 3 more days to go until Chinese New Year! I can already feel the joy of this festive season. Most of the decorations at home are up, except for the tiny ones which will only be up on the day itself. CNY cookies are arranged nicely on the dining table as well, can't wait to unseal them and eat as much as I can. Haha.

A very short update, your blogger here gotta run some errands now. I'll try to update before I leave to Chiang Mai. Yes, I'm heading to Thailand again. I know that I just went to Bangkok, but I've got no choice but to tag along since I have got nothing to do here. My CNY is always that boring. Have a nice day! :)

Loves.

Ex-Surians Gathering ( Primary )

30.12.2009

My memory is failing me, no joke.

I was staring at the pictures for God-knows-how-long and I couldn't recall anything about the gathering besides where were we, and it was no surprise, because I managed to do so with the help of the pictures. I guess I'm aging and I'm becoming more forgetful. Oh, did I just sound like I'm in my 70's? I bet I did. =P

__________________________________________________________________

Meeting up with the primary schoolmates was great, really. I've met some of them before this gathering, but I didn't get to see a few of them for the past 6 years also. To me, they still look pretty much the same, recognisable and have not changed much. Maybe they have only grown taller, but nothing more than that. Haha.

We went to Sakae Sushi for lunch while waiting for the rest to come and join us. The only thing I remember is the fact that all of us crammed ourselves in this tiny room, which couldn't fit more than 8 persons ( According to the waitress ). Oh, there were 12 of us, and the number of us increased from time to time. Some of them actually sat outside of the room also.

Kah Yerng, Audrey, Kar Lin and Jiunn Huah.

See Yau, Set Wern, Yours Truly and Suet Yin.

Rashaun, Sydney, Wye Kik and Nelson.

Their so-called "Lala" pose. Haha.

The girls :)

Suet Yin, Mee Kuan & See Yau.
I don't know if you realise or not, I'm in between the S's again. :P

I think they randomly joined in for picture also, can't remember. Haha.

Jiunn Huah changed his number and didn't inform anybody. So smart.
In the end, he missed the previous gathering, the 5 Joy '08 one.

Grace ( Primary school )
I spent most of my time with them back then.
Well, I had to, because we were in the same class! Haha.

Representatives from Hope & Charity. =P

Joy

Group picture!
Scroll up to find out their names if you really want to know, I'm lazy.

Then, we headed to Wong Kok for second round! Nah, it wasn't because we were hungry, it was simply because we had nothing else to do. See, it was school holiday and we couldn't get movie tickets, so yeah, we decided to have a drink to kill time.

Wei Jie came after his exam, if I'm not wrong.

This girl here needs no introduction also, right? :)

Sydney and Kar Lin

I forgot who took this picture, either See Yau or Wye Kik.
That fellow tried to crop me out of the picture, aiyoh.

Fooled around with my camera as well.

Seriously, we couldn't think of where to go after we finished our drinks.
We walked around and ended up taking pictures randomly. Haha.

Top: Jin Xung, Suet Yin & Rashaun
Bottom: Set Wern, Yours Truly, Chy Munn & Sydney

Top: Set Wern, Yours Truly, See Yau & Wei Jie
Bottom: Wye Kik, Wei Jie and Kah Yerng

Okay, they're the same few people. Not naming them again. :P

I don't know how long we spent just to take pictures, and when we were finally done with it, our stomachs were rumbling, asking us to feed them with food. Oh, by that time, some of them already went home because they needed to do something else. So, the remaining ones went on an expedition, to hunt for this restaurant suggested by Sydney.

The concierge in Pavilion gave us a map and roughly told us the way to Changkat Bukit Bintang. Yes, map was all we had, and also with the help from Sydney's friend on the other end of the phone, we made it! We walked all the way there from Pavilion and actually found the restaurant too! Haha.

Palate Palette

Wei Jie, Suet Yin, Sydney and Chy Munn

Rashaun's failed attempt to kiss See Yau.

All of us who went for the dinner :)

I would really love to meet them again!

When is our next gathering? Hopefully not 6 years from now. Haha.
