Another Peak To Conquer

Frankly speaking, it was my first trip to Cameron Highland. Okay, laugh as hard as you can now. I know it is a bit ridiculous, but that's the truth. I've not been to many places in Malaysia, the only domestic trip I remember is the Sabah trip when I was Junior 3. Well, I don't take Genting Highland and school/clubs related camps into account here. :P

Back to the story, we left home around 11 o'clock in the morning. Seriously, I didn't know that the journey to Cameron Highland actually takes 2.5 hours, not to mention that it was a public holiday, so many people were heading there as well. Massive traffic on the highway was expected, and I was right.

Stoned for few hours in the car, and we reached our first destination of the day. No, it wasn't Cameron Highland. We were killing some time at the Lata Iskandar Waterfall, which is located between Tapah and Cameron Highland. The waterfall is very obvious, I can say that it is impossible to overlook it when you're heading to Cameron Highland from Tapah. By the way, it was pretty crowded on that day, but worth paying a visit though. :P

After that, we continued our journey to Brinchang town and met up with my sister's friends. Yeah, I wasn't a light bulb, no worries. Haha. Then we headed to a farm, which I forgot its name. Every farm is more or less the same, so let's just ignore its name then. :P

Fried Ice Cream

Vanilla ice cream on waffle, it's strawberry jam by the way.

See, the food there wasn't up to standard, like seriously.

The strawberries aren't sweet but sour. The waffle was badly done as well.

I would recommend you to go to another cafe to have all these. Don't waste money. :)

Okay, I know it's very obvious. :P

I think they were selling them for 3 for RM 5, not so sure.

Anyhow, it's definitely cheaper than cactus you get in KL. :P

We walked around for awhile and returned to the villa. Steamboat dinner! Yes, that's what we had for that night. I was too tired/lazy to take pictures of them, not so sure why I didn't already. Haha. But that wasn't the highlight of the night. :P

Had a good laugh, especially when we unwrapped the presents. Haha.

Played some games, headed to Starbucks for a drink and off to bed! :)

Woke up pretty early the next day because we were going to the BOH Tea Plantation. Again, there's only one cafe there, and we had to dine there anyway. The food was average, nothing special. But, the drinks were good. Kononlah, BOH Tea Plantation, of course they serve good ones, right? I personally like the Cameronian Tea, I think it is spelled like that, correct me if I'm wrong.

Tea plantation, reminds me of a TVB drama. Haha.

We came out from the BOH Tea Plantation around 11 o'clock.

And guess what? There was a massive traffic jam, I'm not exaggerating.

There's only one way to get in, and we had to use the very same way to get out.

But, the road itself is like really small. If one bus enters, then habis-lah! All stuck!

And that was exactly what happened. We took an hour to get out from the plantation.

Out of the plantation only! It usually takes 10 minutes at most to exit to Brinchang.

The day was spent mostly in the car, I'm not kidding you. Ipod was my saviour! :)

Home sweet home after a quick lunch in Simpang Pulai. Tiring, it really was.

Raymond Lam's concert was a blast! No, I'm not kidding you. If you are a fan of TVB dramas, then he is no longer a stranger to you. Remember the handsome lawyer in "Heart of Greed" or the caring and loving guy in "Moonlight Resonance"? How can one not fall for such a cute guy? :P

June and I headed to his concert, but something happened in between. Well, I wouldn't repeat what happened again since June already stated it in her blog. I understand that he had to make sure that we didn't sneak in or something, but he was real rude. He should check it with his colleagues or at least talk about it nicely. And because of this particular guy, we were freezing out there, for I-dunno-how-long, until another guy actually ushered us in.

And luckily, we made it on time. Wait, gotta rephrase, we were there pretty early, at least forty minutes before the concert was scheduled to start. Okay, forget it. But still, it was the Mr. Rude's fault. The concert started with Wong Cho Lam as one of the special guests. I didn't know that he can actually sing until he sang in the concert. And to be honest, he can sing pretty well. See, don't judge a book from its cover, so true!

We were in the Ali Cafe zone, which was pretty near to the stage! :P

I like his character as the reporter in "The Beauty of The Game". :P

And all of a sudden, Lam Fung appeared!

Lam Fung was really charming on that night. Well, if he's a bit taller, then yeah, he's perfect! He sang most of the series theme songs, and also quite a number of songs from his album. Of course, his concert wasn't like Lee Hom's, with great backdrops and props. But hey, what do you expect? This concert surpassed my expectations to be honest. I lost count of how many songs he actually sang on that night also. Haha.

Chan Shan Chung

Chan Shan Chung was the second guest of the night. Raymond said that they were best friends for 10 years. Gosh, 10 years, friendship lasts, it really does. :P Well, the recent drama which I can think of with him in it will be the "Emergency Unit". He's quite good looking in fact. Haha.

Besides, Vincy was the last guest of the night. Yes, I know that there was quite a number of special guests, but I don't mind. Haha. She can sing very well though, didn't expect that before. I like the song which she sang with Raymond, but I dunno what is it called. Go Google if you wanna know. I'm waiting for June to send me that song. I'm still waiting. :P

Dilemma

I'm sorry, for not fulfilling my promise. Pictures are all resized, edited and also uploaded. Laziness didn't take control this time, but your blogger here feels that she doesn't know how to blog anymore. I was staring at the very same page, which is flooded by pictures, and couldn't even put any captions in between, let alone the details of the event. Raymond Lam's concert, Christmas trip to Cameron, ex-Surians gathering, New Year's eve and trip to Bangkok, not even one post is completed. Hopefully they will be ready by Tuesday, before classes commence on Wednesday.

In a blink of an eye, third semester is starting soon. Yes, one last semester and I'm done with A-Levels. I don't know how to judge whether it is good or bad for the course to come to its end. But I know that I will miss the college mates, like real bad. Who else will play the "Scissor, Paper, Stone" game when they don't know where to go for lunch and end up not going to the winning restaurant? I bet only awesome college mates like mine do so. :P

Besides, I'm running out of time. 1 more week for me to make my decision, and I have no idea how to do so. I'm so dead. Maybe I should just take the easy way out. Years later, I might blame myself for this, but there's nothing I can do to change anything now. If God grants me a wish now, I would wish for nothing but a decision maker. If only prayer is heard, sigh.

Moved On

If only this day comes..

I don't know why, I have a sudden urge to blog. There's something which I want to share, before laziness creeps in. This is going to be another dull post without photos or updates about my life recently. Yeah, in fact, it is a wordy post. You still love me, as a reader, don't you? :)

For the past few days, when I was still spending my holidays in Bangkok, many things ran through my mind. Well, mainly because I couldn't fall asleep and there's nothing much for me to do, really. And guess what I did? Thanks to the awesome application which can load lyrics for all my songs in my Ipod, I actually found another few songs which are well written. The lyrics hit me right on my head.

I see things in a whole new perspective. Well, I guess it is good in this case. I am not frustrated easily over a small matter now. Okay, I better rephrase, at least better than how I was in the past. Viewing life in a different way certainly helps. When you think that leading a stressful life is unhappy, go ahead and think about what causes you to be so stressed out. And the reasons are usually family, friends, academic and etc. Now, think wisely, would you want to lead a stressful life with them or a peaceful life without them? I'm sure smart readers like you will make the very same decision as I did.

See, there's no point whining about the sorrows. Why? Because it is certainly impossible to have happy moments only in life. We have to experience the sad ones to get the genuine happiness later. Don't you think that you won't be able to define "Happy" if you have never been through the sadness? And it's true, better by far you should forget and smile than that you should remember and be sad. It's never easy to forgive, but forget is much easier. I guess I did pretty well in the forgetting part. :P

And yeah, I'm back from Bangkok! There will be updates about myself, very soon. :)

Hi 2010!

Greetings all the way from Bangkok, Thailand!

See, I wouldn't abandon my blog and of course you readers although I'm not in Malaysia. It might be too late to wish all of you a happy new year, but it is the thought that counts, isn't it? So, how did you celebrate your New Year eve, and how did you spend your first day of Year 2010? It doesn't matter if you didn't do anything in particular, as long as you enjoyed your day.

Well, as for me, I had fun in these two days. Welcomed Year 2010 with June and met up with some of the ex-Surians. It was great, no doubts. I'll try to blog about it real soon, I promise. And, I woke up at 8 in the morning today, considering the fact that I slept at 3 a.m, I didn't get enough sleep. No, my flight wasn't in the morning, it was because I had not pack my luggage. I know, it was a very last minute work, but I couldn't bring myself to do so when I reached home yesterday at 2.15 a.m. My bad.

By the way, it's good to do some shopping in Bangkok. I did a quick shopping just now, and you won't want to know how crazy my sister and I were. We're heading to more malls tomorrow, an entire day for shopping! Oh, if you're wondering how do I stand the food here, no worries, we had Japanese cuisine for dinner just now. I know it sounds stupid to not eat Thai cuisine here, but I'm sure we're going to have it somedays, just not yet. Gotta sleep now, I'm tired. Will update again if I have time to do so.

The Best of Year 2009

Year 2009 is coming to its end. It's like I was welcoming it just yesterday and now it's ending soon. Time is ticking away, and there's nothing we can do to stop it. The only thing which we can do, is to make every minute in the day count. It's the 31st of December today, it is never too late to do it now, it is still Year 2009.

And to be frank, Year 2009 is a year of ups and downs. I don't know which outnumbers which, but it doesn't matter anymore, isn't it? I've been through all of them, and now, I guess I discover more about myself. I never knew that I can be happy over a small thing, and also to be strong enough to endure hardships. So it's true, in life, we're given a test that teaches us a lesson.

Of course, Year 2009 is awesome, minus the fact that there are some sorrow moments. I met new people in college, a new environment for me at that moment. Yes, I felt so lost at first but now I have the sense of belonging. PM8 rocks, it always does. Spending 1.5 years with them is never enough, but the thing is, I can do nothing to change this fact. Getting to know them is one of the best things which happened this year. They painted this chapter of my life with colours. Thanks guys, and we'll spend the remaining half year together in Year 2010. *grins*

Not to forget, a very different birthday celebration I had for this year. I doubt that I will ever forget about it also. Seriously, would you not remember it if your car gone missing on your birthday and you were blindfolded at night walking up stairs and more stairs, nearly hit the wall or fall down in every 5 seconds? Thanks to the awesome classmates and buddies, I had a great day.

There are many more memorable moments in Year 2009, but my memory is failing me. I doubt that you guys want to read a recap on all the events also, it would be a 10,000 words essay if I really do so. You can always refer to my archives, for you will see everything which happened in Year 2009 and also my random thoughts. You think that you know me well? Read, and see if you're wrong. ( By the way, there are some pending posts for Dec '09, will be posted up after I return from Bangkok. )

Last but not least, thanks to my friends, you know who you are, don't you? I wouldn't have made it through the hardships without them. I admit, I am a person who usually keep everything to myself. But they are always there, waiting for me to blurt out every single thing to them and give me strength to face the problems. I'm glad that I'm okay now, because I know the next challenge in life is awaiting me.

Let's wave bye to Year 2009 and put a wide smile on our face to welcome Year 2010!
