Movie Carnival

Had been helping in Hannah Montana booth in Sunway Pyramid, in conjunction of Movie Carnival 2009. I only went there during weekends of course, the event was from the 29th of May to the 7th of June.

The booth

The only thing I gotta do was to stick temporary tattoo for others. Obviously not a tough job, right? Besides, there's a dancing competition based on Miley Cyrus's Hoedown Throwdown. Seriously, I can memorise the song and even the steps now. And I personally think that Taylor Swift's Crazier is indeed a nice song. Perhaps I've been listening to it for few days and so develop love for it? Haha.

Proof

I actually won quite a number of freebies as well. Limited movie merchandises, free movie tickets, free vouchers and lots more. So, helping out can be an enjoyment too. Of course, no pain no gain. I played games to get some of the freebies, they didn't just appear right in front of me. Pretty fun though.

Alvin and the Chipmunks, lovely Theodore :P

She's actually taller than me eh?

Terminator Salvation, a great movie :)

Extra Class

6.6.2009

I know it's a really late post, but I wasn't free at all for the entire last week. So, there will be more posts regarding events before my semester exams. Okay, so the last Saturday before our semester exams started, Mr. Peter had an extra class for all his Biology students, which were students from PM6, PM8 and PM9 in Lecture Theatre 4. And yeah, if you are really observant, it was the same day as Agong's Birthday, which supposed to be a public holiday. And thus we got no notes on that day. Sad case.

Luckily Subway was opened on that day, or else we really got no breakfast at all. Along the street opposite main campus, only Subway had lights on and everything. Lol. That's why most of the students who entered the LT4 had a cup of Milo, coffee or tea from Subway. And as for the rest, I shall let the pictures do the talking then. :)

A sudden shot :)

And now they spot me

I laugh whenever I see this! Sexy oh sexy.. Haha

Top: Heng, Vivian and Sam T
Bottom: Sam Ong, Wen Qi, Li Jin and I

Shirley joined us, but Heng still kinda blurr eh?

Seriously, we didn't pose or anything

But seems like we did, right? Weird..

Okay, we did this time :)

Tsung Wai syok sendiri saje

She laughed again, but WHY?

End of First Sem

Yay!

We had our last paper today, which was Mathematics, and this brought our semester exam to its full stop. ( By the way, I lost my Maths file, with all my notes in it. Hopefully I left it in the exam hall. =[ ) I think I did badly for most of the papers, don't ask me why. Stayed up late for 4 consecutive days and only slept for 2 or 3 hours each day tortured me well enough.

But there's one more thing which made me really upset and frustrated. Can you imagine that I didn't do 10 questions for my Biology MCQ ( Multi choice questions )? I was indeed too obedient to read the instructions, and it mislead me! It was written on the paper that there's only 30 questions, but ended up with 40. The worst thing was I only realised it when there's only 5 minutes before the time's up. Great! Damn disappointed.

See, it was written like that!

Okay, back to today. Some of us headed to Sunway Pyramid after our last paper to have our brunch and also to refresh ourselves after a tough war with Biology, Chemistry, Thinking Skills and Mathematics. We had our brunch in Sushi King because we had to eat something different, something which we can't get nearby our campus. Walked around after that and ended up taking neoprints. Shirley said that our pictures looked like family portrait. LOL! Oh, it was Sexy's and Apple's first time taking neoprints too. Glad that I was there to witness it. Haha.

Our choice of machine

Mind your head, especially Shirley who was damn excited when she saw that bar above

Bye Bye

It was Ms. Yap's last class yesterday. She won't be teaching us for the following semester. We didn't even know about this because she didn't tell us anything. We've got no time to do much preparation to give her a surprise, to thank her for everything for the past 6 months. She's a great teacher, really.

So, when we realised about this, there's only 15 minutes left before the class ends. Tsung Wai, Chee Seong and Tio sneaked out of the class to buy Ms. Yap a slice of cake. ( All of us ate lunch already, so yeah. ) Luckily they came back just on time, before Ms. Yap leaves the class. I hope she likes it. =)

Thanks, Ms. Yap!

Explosives

You're wondering why I named this post "Explosives", right? Yeah, I can read minds. Don't try to hide anything from me, okay? Fine, I'm totally out of topic. I gotta finish this post before I actually forgive or forget about it.

It's Friday, and I know it's super duper jam if I park right opposite Taylor's main campus. So, I parked my car right in front of a fast food restaurant ( Starting from B and ends with G ). Right after the short meeting with Mr. Lai, I walked all the way down and saw a black Perodua Myvi parked just behind of my car. I was pretty cool though because it wasn't the first time somebody double parked behind my car.

I waited for more or less 15 minutes, and my patience dropped dead. I horned for quite a number of time and yet the owner of the car didn't appear. I waited for approximately 25 minutes, then one of the BK's customers came to me and said that the car belongs to one of the staffs in there. I was really speechless on the spot. My car was just outside, and I see no reason why can't the owner listen the horn.

I decided not to wait anymore and went into BK. I told one of the staffs there, and she said it was her manager's car. Double speechless. But at least she apologised on behalf of her manager. The thing which made me really angry was the attitude of this guy. He came out, and gave me a kind of look. He didn't even say sorry. Gosh, what's wrong with you dude? I'll still smile and forgive him if he apologise, but he didn't!

To the manager: Mind you, it was your fault at the first place. I didn't even give you that kind of expression although I waited for so long.

To BK: I'm really disappointed that a guy like that can be a manager in any of your outlets. I'll never step my foot in SS15 Subang Jaya BK until I forget about this.

MY FM Universal New Power Live Concert

24.5.2009

As I mentioned in my previous post, I got the free tickets from MY FM Myvi SE Team to go for a concert featuring many singers in PGRM. And how can I miss such a good oppurtunity to relax myself, right? ( I need entertainment, but not books for all the time. )

I met up with Bea and June in Leisure Mall. Actually June and I planned to queue up outside PGRM around 3 p.m to get a better seat, but it was cancelled in the end. So, both of us accompanied Bea for her haircut and off we headed to 食无忧 to fill our empty stomach. The food was okay, just kinda oily perhaps. A nice try though.

Their menu, without pictures

Ambience

Egg Tarts

Mango Sago Ice? ( Forgot its name )

Chicken Chop with Fried Rice

Chicken Chop, pretty lonely eh?

Bea, who sat opposite

June and I, I personally like this

Ah-huh, I do love egg tart

By the time we finished our lovely dinner, it was already 6.20 p.m. Guess what, the concert was scheduled to start at 7 p.m. We headed to PGRM straightaway, and luckily we didn't have to find parking. =P It was only 6.50 p.m when we finally reached the hall. Others also reached around the same time as us, so we didn't really stand way behind. Just nice I think, because we didn't queue up.

This concert is so far the second most comfortable concert I've been. The most comfortable one was 林于中's concert, because it was held in an auditorium, with comfy seats like cinema ones and also it was air conditioned. And why is this the second one? Because it was air conditioned as well, and the best thing is PGRM hall is kinda small, so we were really close to the stage. ( SSS used to have annual concerts there, made me recalled the past as well. )

The stage :)

Ex-Surians, I hope you recall something now =P

Bea and I

June and I

All 3 of us, but a blurr one

And a picture of yours truly

The moment Y2J or widely known as 神木与瞳 appeared on the stage, everybody was screaming their lungs out. I love the starting though, a rock one just like Lee Hom's concert. And it was really good when you can see them clearly, plainly with my current height. ( Oh well, I'm not really short also, just nice. )

潘嘉丽 performed right after Y2J. She's not really popular or famous in Malaysia yet. So, it was kinda awkward when she sang. Nobody sings along or cheers for her. However, her songs are also pretty okay, not too bad. But I don't really like her hairstyle for the night. =P

Alisa then took over the stage. And she's really way thinner than she used to be. Since she haven't release her debut album, all of us dunno her new songs. And yeah, kinda boring that time. The next person who sang isn't anybody whom I familiar with too. I think his name is 纪佳松. Many people were cheering for him, but seriously I don't think his songs are good. Maybe because of the microphone or whatever. No offence though.

魏如昀's new hairstyle really eye-catching. Totally blonde, and from far, she really looks like a Japanese instead. Haha. Up next was 方炯镔, a local singer from Malaysia. His song, 坏人 is the current hit. Thus, when he performed, all the banners were held up high, and most of them were screaming. This was the part where I've got least pictures. Isshh..

After that, it was 梁文音's turn to perform. Among all the singers who went, she is my favourite. Haha. You guys should really listen to her songs live, they were way awesome than in CD. Omigosh! And not to forget, she sang L.O.V.E with her rival, Alisa as well. Both of them were really cute when they were singing that song. Last but not least, 大嘴巴 conquered the hall with their songs. Yes, it was pretty lively, but they didn't sing the song I love. Too bad, right? Headed to Old Town for a drink and off we headed home.
