Bonds

Do enjoy this short video clip, and I think that it's a great one.
To be honest, I don't like the ending.
It's your choice whether you wanna know why or not. =)

P.S: LAN is over!

Choices

Life is often like a pool of water.

The effect your hand has on the water determines how the water ripples outward and how each ripple begets the next and then the next. Each occurrence in your life is reliant on, and often determined by, prior events which were equally reliant on preceding events. Whether you choose to slap the water violently and watch it spray up magnificently in the air, or just stick your little finger in it and swirl it about gently, determines the current of your existence.

But it is your hand that does it. You are responsible for the choices that you make and you are responsible for the effects that your choices have on the people in your life. Just as they are responsible for the ripple effect of their choices on your life.

Make your choice today and be ready to face all the consequences later on. We may be regret later on, but it's pointless. We can never rewind time back to the moment where we make our choice. The only thing we can do is to get things go on track, and even if it fails, we must accept it in open arms.

Now, I have a question.

What if one isn't even given a chance to make a choice? The path is set for her, and all she can do is to follow the path, to the other end which she doesn't know whether she can do it or not. There's only few more weeks for her to decide, but she's still in a dilemma.

P.S: It's just a silly thought of mine at 5 minute to 4 o'clock in the morning.

After So Long..

Date: 7.8.2009
Venue: Taylor's Main Campus & Subway
Dress Code: Dress or skirt for the ladies ( Smart attire for the guys )

It has been ages since the last time we set a dress code. We used to have it on every Friday but it only lasted for few months. And all of a sudden, we decided to have it back, for stress relief purposes. Trials in less than 2 weeks, time really flies.

Sexy has a pair of eyes behind =P

From left: Melissa, Steph, Jennie, Sam Ong

After LAN, most of the PM8-ers went to Subway to have our breakfast. That was the first time I saw a really long queue in Subway. Blame on us, huh? And all of us smelt like cheese after that. And when we were walking in a group, we were like a group of walking cheese. The smell was really strong.

See, told you it was a really long queue.

Sam Ong with her all time favourite Subway!

Wen Qi & Wai Han were playing Tap Tap Revenge behind. =P

Tsung Wai blocked Jennie =P

Eating burger with spoon & fork?

Michael left, and so there's only both of them ( Tio & Tsung Wai )

SS2 Night Market

3.8.2009

Few weeks ago, we went to SS2 night market to finish our moral assignment. Not to forget, we were there to make a unique video recording, specially for our beloved Ms. Chong. We headed to SS2 pretty early because we didn't want to waste our time due to the bad traffic.

Once we reached SS2, we went to KTZ 记得吃 Restaurant because Tio was craving for his "Mango Sago Loh" ( Mango Sago Ice ). Desserts in there are really good, so no doubt, it was my all time favourite place for desserts, especially on a hot and sunny day.

After that, we decided to follow our plan, which was the making of the special video. We searched high and low for the pole which Ms. Chong meant, and finally decided to ask Tsung Wai to give her a call to get the exact place. The video can be found at the end of this post, and you'll know why were we looking for a specific pole then. When we were doing this, everybody around looked at us awkwardly and started to point at us. Really embarrassing, but for it's for our Ms. Chong. =P

Ms. Chong's favourite curry puff

Then, it's time to finish our moral assignment. We headed to the night market to take pictures and to do some video record. Luckily it wasn't too crowded as it was only 6.00 p.m. Otherwise, we would have to squeeze ourselves into different corners or space. That's what usually happens in a night market.

Tio was trying to act as a thief, for our assignment of course =P

I didn't know that the durian buffet was real

Durian lovers will certainly love this promotion

I dunno whether they're tasty or not because I didn't try

And all the durian lovers =)

I don't have to say much, beverage is a must in night market

And food is everywhere in night market, from kuih to asam laksa to fried chicken.
You name them, and you'll never walk away empty handed.

Fruits, these aren't my favourite. But yeah, you can get fruits here.
I think it will be cheaper than the supermarkets. And the best thing is, you get to try them!

I don't use them, but yeah, there's people who need them. =P

And this reminds me that I really wanna buy a hair band. =P

And you can get clothes there!

Bargain is the fun of buying things from night markets.

But these people see show only =P

Sharing is caring =)

And you get to eat while you hunt for more food! Isn't it great? =P

Don't forget to choose a nice cafe to pamper your feets after that.

And yeah, this is the video I mentioned about earlier. =P

Note To Self (II)

“First ask yourself: What is the worst that can happen? Then prepare to accept it. Then proceed to improve on the worst.” -Dale Carnegie

“Each player must accept the cards life deals him or her: but once they are in hand, he or she alone must decide how to play the cards in order to win the game.” - Voltaire

“Accept the things to which fate binds you, and love the people with whom fate brings you together, but do so with all your heart.” -Marcus Aurelius

P.S: Proper post on this Friday, promise. =)

Prayers

By now, I think most of us know that Typhoon Morakot hit Taiwan and it brought them heavy rain and strong wind to this small little island. Floods and landslides happened in many places of Taiwan and some of the victims are still missing and yet to be found.

We cannot do much for them, but hopefully our prayers can be heard and the victims can reunion with their loved ones again. Be strong and get over it!

Karen Bunny's B'day

27.7.2009

I know I'm really late to post this entry, but there's always somebody who is later than me.
Bea & Kelly, am I right? =P

It was Karen Yong's birthday! Finally, another one of us became officially legal. Is this a good or bad thing? I don't know, but we ought to have fun during one's birthday, because most of us will turn up and laugh at every little things. =P

And this time, we planned a steamboat party for the birthday bunny. All of us gathered at Kelly's house to prepare the food around 6 p.m. By the way, if Kelly offers you the fries which she cooks, you better think twice before you eat. The way she cooks fries is really 'awesome'. And when we were all done with the preparation, Kelly went to Karen's house to trick her here, with all our cars parked right outside of Kelly's house. Haha.

Food, and obviously somebody was trying to steal some.

Specially decorated for Karen :)

All of us hid in the kitchen with balloons everywhere and shouted "Happy Birthday" to Karen when she finally came into the kitchen. Our steamboat dinner then started because all of us was starving and can't wait to get our hands on the food.

Spot the balloon-made-hat? Chio right?

Caterpillar, food and I

Top: Set, June, Bea
Bottom: Mee Kuan, Karen

June was the photographer and Kelly joined us

Honestly, I don't know how many pictures we took.

4 cameras around, and we gotta pose for all of them.

My personal GPS and I

Not to forget, we exchanged our names as well. That's really the funniest thing for that night. Karen exchanged hers with Kelly, Set exchanged with June, while I exchanged with Bea. When we talked, we were either imitating or trying to make fun of the names we exchanged. Darn funny! And when we finished our steamboat dinner, it was the time for the "cakey" session.

Cake for the one who was turning 18 on that day!

Sexy? I doubt it. Haha.

Licking the cream off the plastic

And lastly, a group picture without Ray.
