The End

I've walked away, for quite some time.

But it doesn't mean that I will never look back into the past. I do, I take a glance every now and then, reminding myself not to fall apart for it again. And I realise that I've grown up. Things change, people change. I'm just accepting the fact that some things just aren't meant to be.

P.S: Give your blogger here some time to handle with some really outdated posts! I'll be back, promise. :)

Daily Updates

3 hours break on every Thursday isn't fun, especially when it's from 9 a.m to 12 p.m. I wonder how are we going to spend the remaining Thursdays. We headed to the library to print notes and to tackle some Math questions before we joined the rest for brunch. It's 9 in the morning, and yet I saw a big crowd in the library. It wasn't like that last year, I wonder why.

Tio wanted to borrow a book, and since I wanted to play with the machine, I tagged along. Gosh, I shouldn't have done that. It was very embarrassing. Both of us couldn't even key in password correctly, not to mention to scan the bar code of the book. The juniors tried to teach us some more. The library assistant also came to help us after we troubled him for a few times. Aiyoh, away from college for a month only then don't know how to borrow books already. =P

After we had our brunch in Asia Cafe, we went to this newly opened dessert shop, F.B.I. Sam told me that it stands for Full Blooded Indian, and I actually believed her. Honestly, I've got no idea why did I trust her. Because it's impossible for one to name their dessert shop like that, doesn't make sense at all. I won't fall for the same thing again, never. =P

We were the only customers and hence the emptiness.

Steph asked me to take this, unique in a way I guess?

Tio & Shirley
Don't underestimate this picture, okay?
I used more or less 5 minutes to capture this.

Sam Ong, Stephanie & Yours Truly
For some reasons, I think we had this constipated look when we took this picture.
Okay, maybe we were trying hard not to laugh and hence it explains the weird smile.

Found this in the notepad. Haha.

Chocolate ice cream served with milk cream ice and bananas.

This is the nicest among all of them, but still Snowflake will be a better choice.

Spot the three of them? :) Oh, and also Shirley's fingers. Haha.

Mango ice cream served with milk cream ice, pearls and mangos.

This isn't the best place to eat this dessert, I bet you'll agree with me.
How can one forget the nicest mango shaved ice ( Mango Loh ) in KTZ, SS2?
Wait, 100 Yen serves better mango shaved ice in a cheaper price also. =)

Strawberry ice cream served with watermelons, taros and milk cream ice.

Okay, it's a very weird combination. Do not ask me why did we pick them.
All in all, the desserts were okay, not so fantastic and nothing to go gaga about.
I wonder if we're going to makan there again, most probably not I think. =)

On a very random note, do remember not to speak Hokkien to somebody who understands nothing about it, like me. Why? Because we, who don't know its real meaning tend to interpret the words ourselves, and for most of the time, we misinterpret them. Okay, cannot blame us at all, at least we try our best to figure them out.

And here's what happened when an Ang-Moh tried to speak Hokkien to a person who clearly doesn't know how to speak Hokkien at all.

After classes, Jennie was accompanying me while I was waiting for Set Wern at the guardhouse. All of a sudden, she asked me, "Mother, my hair 'beh sai' ah?". I know 'beh sai' definitely stands for 'not okay' in this case. So I thought 'beh' is like 'no/not' in English, thus I replied her, "You hair 'sai' lah!". Jennie gave me the speechless look and told me that 'sai' alone stands for shit. I laughed right away. Haha. In the end, Jennie told me that I should have said 'eh sai'. See, complicated. We shouldn't even bother to speak Hokkien at the first place. =P

Yes; No

Two of the shortest words in the English language are “YES” and “NO” and yet they are often the ones that require the most thought before they are said. Some thoughts are better left unsaid, some feelings are better left kept to myself. It's simply another wall which I put up to protect myself.

I'll be fine in a day or two.

Smileys!

From counting weeks to days to hours and lastly to minutes, it was finally here.
It's a HUGE relief, to officially say Bye to AS and don't have to worry about it anymore.

I'm happy and contented, that's definitely one of the best gifts for the month of January.

P.S: Brother Chen, I would love to get it now! =)

Compilations

Believe it or not, I went to Mid Valley/The Gardens and watched movies three days in a row.

Tooth Fairy, Paranormal Activity and Old Dogs; it's like a movie marathon, just that I didn't watch all of them in one day. By the way, Tooth Fairy is my favourite among them all. Although it is slightly less funny than Old Dogs, but the plot is good. I like how he's ( Derek Thompson ) said to be guilty for killing dreams and turns over a new leaf after a series of incidents. Sometimes, we have to indulge in fantasies also. I don't see anything wrong about that. However, I have no comments on Paranormal Activity, quite a waste of money I should say. Most of the time, I was bugging June to tell me what's happening. Haha.

And here's what happened this afternoon, when we ( Shirley, Jennie, Tsung Wai, Tio & I ) were having our lunch in Delicious. Jennie and I ordered Carbonara Spaghetti with chicken slices and Grilled Chicken Burger with turkey ham, salad and a side of fries. They served the pasta first, and of course, it was cheesy and creamy. We were kind of full by the time we finished the plate of pasta and that's when the humongous burger came into sight. I tried my very best to stuff as much as I could into my stomach, but I couldn't.

Jennie was sitting right next to Tio, who wasn't eating anything until Shirley forced him to finish her pasta for her. Shirley never once finishes her food, really. Wait, scratch that, she does that once in a blue moon, like once in every few months. Haha. Okay, back to the story. So Tio was extraordinary free and started to cut Jennie's share of the burger into smaller pieces. Still, that wasn't the climax. Seeing that Jennie starting to give up, like me, he fed Jennie pieces by pieces and acted like he's her father.

Don't be naughty, few more pieces only! Ahhhh~
You can do it Jennie!
Come, daddy feed you. Open your mouth. Ahhhh~

Some examples of what he said to Jennie, and they were more or less the same. And surprisingly, Jennie actually ate all of them, though she was reluctant to do so. I remember him saying that he'll buy her lollipops if she can finish them all. I don't know if it's real. Haha. That's not the end. He started to persuade me to finish mine also and he actually conned us.

Tio: Okay lah, don't waste food. I eat one piece, Jennie eat one piece, and Mum you also eat one piece. Then no more already. ( Oh well, he calls me Mum. )

He took a piece of meat and stuffed it into his mouth, chewed but didn't swallow. Jennie ate another one from my plate right after Tio put it in his mouth. Seeing that they tried to finish my food for me, I ate one piece also. The second I put it into my mouth, Tio actually spat the one he was chewing. Aiyoh!

And for some reasons, I find it very funny.

P.S: I'm not ready for tomorrow!

3!

I need to take a break, which is why I'm blogging now.
Cramming all the Chemistry facts into my brain is not fun.
Oh well, at least it is better than memorising Biology facts.

Weekend, it's what I'm looking forward to usually. Sadly, I'm not right now. I wish that this Friday never ends. Okay, I know that it's impossible. Forget it then. I have to go for the IELTS workshop on every Saturday, and it lasts for a month. The first class on last Saturday was okay, another 3 more sessions to attend before I'm done with it. Waking up early on 4 consecutive Saturday mornings isn't fun AT ALL. Cu'mon, why can't it end ASAP?

Sigh, I better get back to my Chemistry now, or else I'll fail my test tomorrow.

How I wish I can stop time.

I Believe

“At the end of the day when I crawl into bed and all the lights go out, my thoughts can finally rise to the surface. Yes, I’m a little bruised, slightly broken, and permanently scarred but I’m still here aren’t I? I’m still fighting, I’m still waking up everyday to go through it all over again. This life may be hard as hell but it’s still a gift and I’m going to live every moment of it.” -Anonymous

That's really an awesome quote, don't you think so? If you've been reading my blog for quite some time, then you surely know that I love to post quotes, either they are meaningful, or maybe they're simply my favourites. I love to share them in this tiny little space I have. And of course, the quotes actually inspire me a lot, I hope they do the same for you too.

And trust me, I understand your pain ( If you're going through this right now ). It's not easy, definitely not a simple mathematics like 1+1=2, to get the thoughts out of your mind. I've tried, and to be honest, I've never once succeeded. But I'm not giving up yet, I'm still struggling and hoping for the best. Hang in there! If I can do it, you can do it as well. It's only a matter of time, and I choose to believe, believe that it's a test from God to see if I'm strong enough to face all these.

We think too much, and we can't help it. But I'm looking forward to the day, the day which I will think of something which will put a smile on my face right before I fall asleep. You know how kids usually sleep with a smile, especially when they fall asleep halfway listening to their bedtime stories? Yes, that's the smile I mean, the one without worries but yet can't wait for the sun to shine tomorrow morning. And this day will come, sooner or later. I have the faith, do you have it as well?

P.S: 1.25, it's actually getting nearer.

One Year Later

29.12.2009

I forgot when was it, but I was chatting with Faith, to tell her about the details of the ex-Surians gathering. She couldn't make it for the gathering ( Eherm, faster show me your gratitude =P ) , and hence we decided to hang out the day before the gathering itself. Talking about this aunty, the last time I talked/met/saw/took pictures with her was during the Bella Noche '08, high school prom. See, we didn't meet each other for one whole year. Luckily we managed to meet up before Year 2009 ended.

It was indeed a fun-filled day. Faith waited for me for more or less 15 minutes because I was late. ( Sorry! =P ) We had a tough time deciding where to have our breakfast at first as both of us had no idea where to dine in. In the end, we headed to Subway. Oh, not to forget, Faith actually sort of memorises all the Sub of the Day. She can name all of them without looking at the banner. Or is it an ability which all HELP students have? Haha.

We spent quite some time in Subway just to finish our sandwiches. No, we weren't eating too slow. It was because we were talking for most of the time, to catch up with each other. See, the consequences of not meeting for one year. We left after an hour or so, but we were chatting while walking and both of us had no intention to do some quick shopping before our movie. So, we went to Chocolate Lounge for some drinks. We were the only customers at first, as if we owned the place. Haha.

I was trying to balance the camera on my bag.
But I failed, miserably. It couldn't stand still for a second also.
The naughty aunty took this while I was trying again and again. =P

Faith's number-I-dunno-what-attempt to break my high score.
Milk the cow, milk the cow, milk the cow. Haha.
We even played few rounds of Tap Tap Revenge in the cafe.
Laughing and giggling non stop, I bet the waiters gave us the "-.-" look. =P

Snow White & her Chocolate Affair.
You must be thinking that I'm crazy or so, but it's true.
The drink is named Snow White and the fondue is named Chocolate Affair.
Well, Snow White isn't my thing, both the cartoon and the drink.
It's too sweet for a drink, and I don't like white chocolate.
Chocolate Affair tastes good, especially the pot of chocolate. =)

Told ya that I failed miserably earlier, right?
So I gave up and put it on the table. Haha.

Aunty Faith :)

And we found an alternative way, neither camwhoring nor putting it on the table.
Guess what we did? We put the camera on the couch and we sat opposite.
Of course, we set a timer also lah. Takkan I fly there in a split second? =P

We were fooling around in the cafe until it was time for our movie. I couldn't recall how long did we spend there, but long enough to talk about our happenings in Year 2009. And the pick of the day was "Sherlock Holmes". One word sums it all, astonishing! I had fun watching, but still, it was a bit draggy for me. Oh, one more thing, the guy sat next to me actually covered his eyes with his hands when there're battle scenes or explosions. I wonder why, it isn't a thriller, and it isn't scary. ( If I can say that it isn't scary, then you know that there's really nothing to be scared of. Serious! ) I was busy nudging Faith to take a look at that guy whenever he did that. Haha.

P.S: Aunty, do remember our plan! =)

Third Semester

5 weeks of holidays ended and classes started yesterday. It's really time to study and be a nerd for 6 more months. Physically, college is still the same, with 2 buildings which are connected to each other on the first floor. And I still like the classes which are located next to the library. *Inside joke* However, I didn't feel like how I did last year when I first stepped into the college on this Tuesday. New faces everywhere, it just didn't seem right. But I'll get used to it soon.

Timetable is pretty awesome also. Classes end earlier this semester because we no longer have to attend LAN or Thinking Skills classes. There's only one thing about it which I dislike, the 3 hours break on Thursday. Unfortunately, we couldn't bring any lessons forward, so gotta bear with it for half a year.

Besides, the tables are arranged in a rather strange way now. We, as in students, are facing each other now. Well, the management wants to encourage discussion among the students, that's what I heard. Seriously, what's the point? We aren't facing the whiteboard and if we wanna do so, we have to turn our heads and look the other way. I think I'll sprain my neck sooner or later.

By the way, I miss the smooth traffic on LDP too. I dunno what's wrong, maybe everybody loves to go to work or go to school earlier these days? Congested traffic around 7 in the morning, that's crazy. Hopefully this doesn't last long. *Prays*

And tomorrow is Friday.
I love Fridays, don't you?
Oh, classes end EARLIER as well. =P

Another Peak To Conquer

25.12.2009

Frankly speaking, it was my first trip to Cameron Highland. Okay, laugh as hard as you can now. I know it is a bit ridiculous, but that's the truth. I've not been to many places in Malaysia, the only domestic trip I remember is the Sabah trip when I was Junior 3. Well, I don't take Genting Highland and school/clubs related camps into account here. :P

Back to the story, we left home around 11 o'clock in the morning. Seriously, I didn't know that the journey to Cameron Highland actually takes 2.5 hours, not to mention that it was a public holiday, so many people were heading there as well. Massive traffic on the highway was expected, and I was right.

Stoned for few hours in the car, and we reached our first destination of the day. No, it wasn't Cameron Highland. We were killing some time at the Lata Iskandar Waterfall, which is located between Tapah and Cameron Highland. The waterfall is very obvious, I can say that it is impossible to overlook it when you're heading to Cameron Highland from Tapah. By the way, it was pretty crowded on that day, but worth paying a visit though. :P

Sister and I with the magnificent waterfall behind. :)

We walked all the way up to capture a photo without humans.
Most of them were enjoying the cool splash of water below and some were actually swimming.

Sister and her boyfriend, Tonny.
My photography skills are great, right? :P

Oh well, now you get to see humans.
Besides, there are food and souvenirs stall along the road too.
Go for the lekor, my all time favourite! Haha.

After that, we continued our journey to Brinchang town and met up with my sister's friends. Yeah, I wasn't a light bulb, no worries. Haha. Then we headed to a farm, which I forgot its name. Every farm is more or less the same, so let's just ignore its name then. :P

Okay, I dunno what do you call this. Is it lettuce or cabbage?

The one and only cafe you can find in the farm.
So you've got no choice but to dine there if you're hungry.

Fried Ice Cream

Vanilla ice cream on waffle, it's strawberry jam by the way.
See, the food there wasn't up to standard, like seriously.
The strawberries aren't sweet but sour. The waffle was badly done as well.
I would recommend you to go to another cafe to have all these. Don't waste money. :)

Took a picture with the vegetables? Haha.

Lovely, aren't they? :P

I just notice that the same caption above can be used here too. :P

Purple on the left and red on the right. :)

Cactus
Okay, I know it's very obvious. :P

I think they were selling them for 3 for RM 5, not so sure.
Anyhow, it's definitely cheaper than cactus you get in KL. :P

I heart this picture lots! :)

See, told you that I have good photography skills.
Maybe I should go for a course or something? Haha.

Looks like a heart shape in a glance. Beautiful. :)

Pink roses, didn't get to see blue roses though.
Wait, do they even exist in the world? Blue roses? Haha.

We walked around for awhile and returned to the villa. Steamboat dinner! Yes, that's what we had for that night. I was too tired/lazy to take pictures of them, not so sure why I didn't already. Haha. But that wasn't the highlight of the night. :P

Yes, gifts exchange!
Had a good laugh, especially when we unwrapped the presents. Haha.
Played some games, headed to Starbucks for a drink and off to bed! :)

26.12.2009

Woke up pretty early the next day because we were going to the BOH Tea Plantation. Again, there's only one cafe there, and we had to dine there anyway. The food was average, nothing special. But, the drinks were good. Kononlah, BOH Tea Plantation, of course they serve good ones, right? I personally like the Cameronian Tea, I think it is spelled like that, correct me if I'm wrong.

Tea plantation, reminds me of a TVB drama. Haha.

View from the cafe! :)

Sister, Tonny & Yours truly

And 2 uncles? Haha.

This little girl here is very cute. :P

We came out from the BOH Tea Plantation around 11 o'clock.
And guess what? There was a massive traffic jam, I'm not exaggerating.
There's only one way to get in, and we had to use the very same way to get out.
But, the road itself is like really small. If one bus enters, then habis-lah! All stuck!
And that was exactly what happened. We took an hour to get out from the plantation.
Out of the plantation only! It usually takes 10 minutes at most to exit to Brinchang.
The day was spent mostly in the car, I'm not kidding you. Ipod was my saviour! :)
Home sweet home after a quick lunch in Simpang Pulai. Tiring, it really was.

Let's Party!

19.12.2009

Raymond Lam's concert was a blast! No, I'm not kidding you. If you are a fan of TVB dramas, then he is no longer a stranger to you. Remember the handsome lawyer in "Heart of Greed" or the caring and loving guy in "Moonlight Resonance"? How can one not fall for such a cute guy? :P

June and I headed to his concert, but something happened in between. Well, I wouldn't repeat what happened again since June already stated it in her blog. I understand that he had to make sure that we didn't sneak in or something, but he was real rude. He should check it with his colleagues or at least talk about it nicely. And because of this particular guy, we were freezing out there, for I-dunno-how-long, until another guy actually ushered us in.

And luckily, we made it on time. Wait, gotta rephrase, we were there pretty early, at least forty minutes before the concert was scheduled to start. Okay, forget it. But still, it was the Mr. Rude's fault. The concert started with Wong Cho Lam as one of the special guests. I didn't know that he can actually sing until he sang in the concert. And to be honest, he can sing pretty well. See, don't judge a book from its cover, so true!

We were in the Ali Cafe zone, which was pretty near to the stage! :P

Wong Cho Lam, don't you find him funny? Haha.

I like his character as the reporter in "The Beauty of The Game". :P

And all of a sudden, Lam Fung appeared!

Lam Fung was really charming on that night. Well, if he's a bit taller, then yeah, he's perfect! He sang most of the series theme songs, and also quite a number of songs from his album. Of course, his concert wasn't like Lee Hom's, with great backdrops and props. But hey, what do you expect? This concert surpassed my expectations to be honest. I lost count of how many songs he actually sang on that night also. Haha.

Prince Charming *wink*

And Raymond actually joined the crowd! Awesome! :)

And since he were busy walking to the back seats, we took pictures lah!

Spending time wisely. We were so smart, weren't we? Haha.

Chan Shan Chung

Chan Shan Chung was the second guest of the night. Raymond said that they were best friends for 10 years. Gosh, 10 years, friendship lasts, it really does. :P Well, the recent drama which I can think of with him in it will be the "Emergency Unit". He's quite good looking in fact. Haha.

And they danced!

And Manhand was there as well.
Well, I don't know much about them. Let's just forget it.

Look at his eyes, awww!

Heart melted. :P

Besides, Vincy was the last guest of the night. Yes, I know that there was quite a number of special guests, but I don't mind. Haha. She can sing very well though, didn't expect that before. I like the song which she sang with Raymond, but I dunno what is it called. Go Google if you wanna know. I'm waiting for June to send me that song. I'm still waiting. :P

Vincy & Lam Fung
I would love to see Linda Chung. :(

Christmas present for her.
Guess what, I actually saw it in Mid Valley the next day. Haha.

Smoking HOT! :P

And when the crowd shouting their lungs out for ENCORE, we took pictures again! :)

And of course, they came out once again.
Not Raymond alone, all the special guests also!

Giving out Christmas gifts! :P

After the concert :)

You know what, all the VIPs and the Ali Cafe zone guests had to exit to the outdoor.
The wind was so strong that all of us could hardly walk. Luckily we didn't get blown away.

And that's the end! :P
