A Day After His Big Day

Yesterday was my Dad's birthday, which you all know by now.
So, guess whose birthday falls on the very next day?

( Hint: Whose blog are you reading right now? Pretty obvious, no? )

A Man I Can Never Lose

Time to stop all the emo posts, that's so not me. :P

And why am I typing in this tiny little box today, on 5 o'clock in the morning?
You wouldn't be able to figure it out, unless you know me very well. Haha.
So I shall disclose the answer now, right? Or do you want to make a smart guess?
Never mind, don't waste time thinking about it, you wouldn't succeed also.

Today is Daddy Chen's birthday! :D

Any man can be a father, but it takes somebody special to be a dad.

S.O.S

Honestly, I just want to watch as many TV series as I can everyday, curl up in my bed and sleep for days, if that's possible. The stress is building up everyday, and there is no way to relieve it. When I was young, I wasn't aware about the stress of growing up. But now, I do. I experience it everyday, and at a point of time, I really do hope that I have the courage to give up. Unfortunately, I don't have. I couldn't give up, or else guilt will be the next main problem I've got to deal with.

I need a break, I need to escape from all these mess. Stressed out, tired and confused, I've never felt like that before. This is the first time, and I hope it is the only one. Even chocolates couldn't plaster a smile on my face these days, what did all these mess turn me into? I don't know, no clue at all.

So here I am, don't know what to do or what to expect.

Endurance

To be honest, I've never liked the month of March. Every year, for some reasons, March is the month which a series of unpleasant things takes place. It is not that nothing good comes from this month, just that the bad ones really outnumbered them. Tears, nervous breakdowns, overwhelming stress and arguments, I'm positive that they happen in the month of March.

And there isn't any exception for this year. Pathetic, it really is.

Chocolate Cream Chip ♥

Why is Starbucks our favourite choice whenever we have to do assignments?

  1. Of course, the drinks in there! How can one not love Chocolate Cream Chip Frappuccino? ( Heng will definitely roll her eyes if I ever ask her this. Haha. )
  2. You get to sit on these comfortable couches that make your life easier when you are dealing with assignments for 2 hours or more.
  3. Yes, and the laid-back atmosphere. Things seem to be less frustrating in there, for some reasons. Haha.

Work hard baby! :D

I don't know if you've noticed it or not, the free Wi-Fi service is not in the list.
And if you have already noticed, ever wonder why?

Because it takes God-knows-how-long to load a picture or even a page.
And for most of the time, it's because somebody is loading a short clip or show.

Tio was one of the culprits that day.

But it is the company that matters the most after all. ♥

One More

Cal-ebration, the first and maybe the last event I've attended throughout my entire A-Levels programme. Guess what, we weren't there because we wanted to go also. So, what's the main driving force behind this? Simple, we were there to accompany and support Sam, who was the host of the night.

I've learnt a lesson on that night also, no joke. I would never wear a blouse and a short pants to any events anymore, I'm serious. That was the first time I felt under-dressed in a casual event. 90% of the girls dressed up for that night, mainly in dresses and heels. They really took this event seriously, didn't they? Now, you tell me, how can I not feel under-dressed?

Besides, do remind me to have something light beforehand if I'm heading to any events after this. See, even when you arrive right on time for the event to start, for most of the time, it will be delayed. Food is served on the tables but you would feel bad to eat before it officially starts. And when it is time to eat, the queue is extraordinary long that you wouldn't feel like eating anymore. In the end, you starve. And that's exactly what happened on that night.

Anyway, I had fun that night. Okay, I better rephrase. Fun, as in I experienced something different. Before that, I've never seen how people of different classes mingle and mix around with one another, I've never seen how crazy the crowd can be when the results are revealed one by one and I've never seen how the crowd can dance or jump until they set the dance floor quaking. Tiring night, but loves it. :)

Yours truly, Samantha, Stephanie & Tsung Wai.

Another shot without flash to see that the glow sticks were actually glowing.
Man, I should get the green ones next time. Look really good in pictures. :P

This picture never fails to make me laugh. HAHA!
Don't ask me what were they doing, it's very obvious! :P

Family portrait? :D

And they walked me to my car. Thanks! :P
Tsung Wai wasn't in the picture though, no poles for him to pose. Haha.

Take It Easy

I've done all I could, I mean it.
I've not played any of their songs in my Ipod, for like 2 weeks.
I've tried my best not to listen to that particular radio station.
I've not visited their official fan site, for like 1 month.
I don't ask for too much, I just don't want to be reminded about it.

See, things just don't go the way you want them to.
No matter how hard I try, I can definitely listen to their songs.
The radio stations are being real mean to me these days.
Why do they play their songs like, once in every few hours?
As if it's not bad enough, I can listen to their songs in cafes and restaurants too.
Not only that, even my family asked if I'm going for it.
Gosh, so much for avoiding everything about it. Arrgghh!

P.S: I really need to be distracted on Saturday night.

P.P.S: Alright, enough of my rants. I hereby apologise for such a meaningless post. :)

BOLT!

If you've been following me on Twitter, you must have came across a tweet which I posted last night. No worries, I'm safe and sound and I didn't get into any kind of accidents. You must be thinking what does the "BANG" mean then, aren't you?

To cut the story short, my house was struck by the lightning. The lightning prevention system, or whatever you name it, obviously didn't work like how it did for the past 6 years. When I was about to unplug all the computers, modem and router, the lightning actually struck the modem right in front of me. Few centimetres away from me only, thank God. But the modem wasn't as lucky as I was, it exploded. Damages were caused, quite a number of them.

Anyways, I wouldn't want to elaborate on that. On a brighter note, I guess I would be able to see new computers or electronic devices soon. =P Oh, fellow technicians who are working in Telekom or Streamyx, if you guys happen to see this, please revive my internet connection ASAP. Thanks! :)

P.S: The odds of being struck by lightning are estimated at 1 in 700, 000 in a given year. ( Yes, I Google-ed. ) Should I ask my parents to buy lottery tickets tonight? Haha!

P.P.S: Now I think that I'm stupid. I searched online and found out that turning stuff off and unplugging stuff has also proved to do nothing except putting people in danger while they are doing it. I risked my LIFE for nothing!
