2008, Year of Changes

Okay, these are some new changes of Seri Suria for year 2008.

1. The Multi Purpose Hall

What can I say? The canteen is on the ground floor of the hall. Although it's bigger, but students can't find seats also. Maybe because of the same amount of tables and benches. I don't really like the new canteen though. Students might line up for a long time just to buy a packet of biscuits or 1 drink. They didn't organise it properly I think. Everybody has to be there as early as possible just to escape from the long queue. Anyway, the other parts of the Multi Purpose Hall aren't okay yet. They are still furnishing the building and dust particles are what we can see everywhere.

2. Formal assembly

As we know, formal assembly is on every Monday. I've got no idea why the school management changed it to every Tuesday. And it will be held in the new building once it is ready. This means that students have to walk all the way down to attend this assembly. Won't it be like kinda troublesome?

3. Ms Julia's absence

She left the school. This is perhaps the shocking news for the first day of school. Not going to elaborate much on this. =]

4. MORE new teachers

Seems that many teachers left again. So, of course there are new ones coming to the school to take over their places. Haven't get the chance to meet the new Physics teacher yet. But I'm sure his English pronounciation will be better. =P

5. Examinations

Well, usually the exams will be on the first or second week after the March holidays, I mean the first term exams. But surprisingly, for this year, there won't be a first term exam on March, it will be an assesment on the end of February. We don't have to sit for each and every papers, which means this way saves lots of time. Then the second term will be like usual at the end of June, trial will be on October and SPM on November. 2008 is a year of exams. =[

Thta's all I can think for now. Might update later if I figure out some new changes.
