Hectic Friday!

Yesterday, we celebrated February babies' ( Fiona, Heng, Hui Ning & Jennie ) birthday in the class, during Chemistry again. =P Ms. Cindy tried to bluff them and said that she was going for a meeting, so we had to stay in the class for approximately half an hour before our next class. She returned around 5 minutes later with a cake. Haha! Hopefully they like it though.

Happy Birthday!

As I mentioned in my previous post, I gotta do my assignments ( Chem & Bio ) and attend the AIESEC Welcome Party, so I stayed back after class. Imagine, I was in the library for 4 hours, pretty boring and tiring because I gotta face the computer ( I was looking for information ). And the library was full of people, and most of them was there because of Chemistry project. I hate to do projects. =(

When the clock showed 5.30 p.m, Li Jin and Tio helped to carry my fruits to the cafeteria for the party later on. A million thanks! =) The party started around 6.30 p.m, when most of the participants arrived. I met more people today, especially seniors who weren't there during Induction Conference and Assesment Day. But something kept me in dilemma yesterday. It's a compulsory for new members to join Local Leadership Development Seminar in Ipoh from March 20th to 22nd. Most of them are having semester break but I'm not, and it's the day after my big day. Gosh!

An Hour Break Bio Prac!

Seriously, I dislike the weather to the max now. Imagine, it was raining early in the morning today, and it took me extra half an hour to reach college. That's not the worst part though. I had to queue up under the rain to pay for my parking fee also. In conclusion, I was all wet in the morning, as if I took morning shower.

Today, we were all divided into four groups to complete an assignment for Chemistry. ( Group members: Li Jin, Rachel, Tsung Wai, Heng and Way Han ) But luckily, I had to find information and pictures only. ( Leave me a message in the chatbox if you know any websites which has videos regarding Chemistry! ) Gotta stay back this Friday to discuss about it. Oh yeah, and then I gotta attend the AIESEC Welcome Party also. What a hectic Friday!

As usual, we'll do our Biology practical on every Wednesday. Today's experiment was really fun because we can just leave the apparatus there for an hour. And so, that hour was our second break. We had a small discussion about the Chem assignment and then we were way too bored and disturbed Shirley who was trying hard to sleep. =P How nice would it be if every practical is something similar to this?

Still working hard

First attempt to disturb Shirley

Can't see what's written on the wooden block? =P

Still can't get it?

And now you do =)

Wow, flame wei!

Trying to get rid of us

But she was laughing non stop when she saw the mini flame =P

Until she fell!

And now Tio wanna be a ghost again, poor Way Han!

I bet you can see who's the winner

First pic of me in lab coat, and she's Jocelyn =)

Working hard? Suspicious!

Look at it carefully

Haha, don't ask me why was it so!

AIESEC Assesment Day!

As I mentioned last week, I went for the AIESEC interview. Few days ago, I received e-mail from AIESEC, and I passed. So, I had to attend the Assesment Day in the Multi Purpose Hall last Saturday. At first, I hesitated whether I should go or not, but in the end I went.

Early in the morning, Jocelyn, Li Jin and Chee Seong had breakfast with me in McDonald's. Million thanks to them for sacrificing their sleeping hours and walked all the way down to Taylor's on a weekend. =P I left around 9.50 a.m as the AIESEC thingy will start at 10 a.m.

During the registration, I spotted some familiar faces. ( They were in the same group as I was during the Induction Conference. ) For the first session, we had a quick test and a game. We were all divided into group of ten and had to build a structure from newspapers, bottles and magazines. Some of us gotta trade or buy items which we didn't have. And not to forget, some gotta be warriors to protect the structure as warriors from different groups will attack. It was fun. =)

Thanks to Li Jin and Jocelyn again for accompanying me for lunch. =) Kit from PM9 joined us also. After that, we headed back to MPH and we had a small debate session. All of us in the group had a role to play and gotta debate on why he or she should be in the hideout which can only fit four persons when the meteriod hit the Earth. My role was a maid. LOL! Then, we had to create a PBoX ( Project Based on Exchange ) about World Peace. This was the most difficult one of all for me. Ya-dah ya-dah, and it was time to go home. =P

**********************************************************************

OMG, there are Chemistry practical test and Thinking Skills test tomorrow. We know nothing about it until today. So, we gotta prepare for both tests in one night. The TKS test will be counted for forecast result also. Gosh, hopefully I won't screw it up. =P

SPM results will be released on 12th of March, I bet many of you know about it. We are all allowed to be absent with permission on that day, as in we don't have to hand in letter for our absence. But classes will be conducted as usual. I think I'll just skip the entire day because SSS won't release our results early in the morning also. We're always later than the others. =( Besides, I don't know how to go Taylor's from Hulu Langat. Lol.

And coincidentally, it was raining heavily during the last half hour of my last class. I was praying so hard that it'll stop because I gotta walk all the way up to Taylor's Business School WITHOUT an UMBRELLA! And yeah, it didn't stop raining. I was all wet when I finally got into my car. How am I suppose to recover from illness then? =(

P.S: The chance to get in AIESEC is really small in my opinion. There are only few slots available. I doubt I can make it though, but at least I tried. =)

PM8's First Outing

Whoots, PM8-ians went Sunway Pyramid after planning for several weeks. We went there after class obviously, we're good children. LOL! Only half of the class went because some of them weren't free on yesterday, but I'm sure we'll make it one day, as in a whole class. =)

We randomly picked a movie to spend some time, and so we watched Slumdog Millionaire. I didn't know that it's a Hindu movie until I went into the cinema. =P If you like educational movies, maybe you will like this movie also. It's okay for me, as they converse in English for some certain scenes. Slumdog Millionaire goes to the Oscars with 10 nominations also.

After that, it was bowling time! Seriously, I thought it's F.O.C for Taylor's students because it's stated in student portal that we just have to flash our student id in order to enjoy the facilities. However, the Bowling Club committe said that we must join the club to enjoy its privilege. So, nearly half of the class signed up and paid RM 10 for registration fee. ( RM 10 per year, great bargain! )

Bottom: Sam T, Li Jin, Shirley, Chee Seong

Naughty Li Jin who deleted her photos

And we really had fun there! I bet we were the major noise pollutant in Mega Lanes yesterday. Some of us started playing while waiting for the rest to turn up. And when they did, that's when the fun began! We started naming each other, and they changed mine to Meesup. Mine wasn't the funniest one, there were more nicknames. We cheered when people 'cuci longkang', and I was one of the members of 'cuci longkang' team. =)

A picture of them

JiJi was showing her ultimate 'cuci longkang' skill

Heng & I with a ghost ( Ah Tio ) behind

Still laughing

And the laughter didn't stop

Of course, our class mentor joined us as well. And no doubt, she has the quality to be in the team I mentioned above also. =P Most of the time, we were disturbing others when it was their turn to bowl. Not to forget, we snapped pictures all the time also. After 2 tiring games, we then headed to Sushi King for dinner. ( I just joined them for awhile and left earlier. ) And that's the end! =P

Sorry Su Ann! =(

Sudden shot

Still not ready yet

Can't see Tio =P

Kelly ❤

I heard that you're feeling blue today,
And wanted you to know,
F.R.I.E.N.D.S are all around you,
Till the dark clouds leave.
When you're down and want to smile,
But haven't found the strength,
Just think of F.R.I.E.N.D.S,
And feel the love from us.

P.S: We'll always be your sunshine, and brighten up your days. =)

Lightning!

Peeps, I went to T.A.B again today. Can you imagine it? After yesterday's incident, we still gave them another chance. ( In fact, we had 2 hours of break, so no worries! =] ) We played "Uno Stacko" and I gotta hold my food whenever it wasn't stable because it will just fall right in front of me. Slacked for an hour and then I accompanied Set to the Korean B.B.Q restaurant.

There was a talk held in Multi Purpose Hall for CAL students today and it was really boring. I can't listen to what the speaker was blabbering about and ended up having a SMS session with Shirley. The group of students beside me even played songs from their phones. LOL!

And guess what? It was raining cats and dogs when I was driving home today. The sky was totally dark and the only thing I can see was LIGHTNING! Yes, it wasn't a good thing for me, not even a tiny bit. Hopefully this only happened once in a while but not always. I don't like it at all. =(

Check out the video I've posted along with this post also. It's totally irrelevant with my post above but I simply think that I should share it with you guys. Click on it and fast forward it to the part by 黑角. They are a dance group which won a competition in Taiwan. Their dance definitely worth that 2 or 3 minutes of yours. Give it a go! Enjoy! =)
